Star Motors was established in King Williams Town as a Mercedes Benz Dealership in 1971 and was owned by Mr. R.D. Williams.  He ran the business for a number of years and then Charles Webber and his wife Pam took over and purchased the business and buildings in 1986.  

Charles and Pam Webber ran a very successful operation until Charles decided that it was time to dispose of the business and move to Knysna.

Ronnies Motors purchased Star Motors in July 1996 and it became a branch of Ronnies Motors, but continued to run independently to serve the people of King Williams Town.

The business has grown from strength to strength and the stable loyal staff compliment are enthusiastic and always willing to assist their customers as best they can.
